PAC Home Talk: Lindsay Seers
Artist Lindsay Seers’ large scale installations involve complex storytelling and personal histories. At the heart of the work is the artist’s body and a camera, or in some works, the artist’s body as a camera.
Carl Slater: Crowd.Control
Amidst psychotropic lighting and event-derived revelations, Crowd.Control revisits Plymouth’s 1990s rave scene.
Artist Open Studio: Ali Northcott
Ali Northcott works with moving image, photography, installation and live performance.
Matthew Houlding: Lagoon West
Houlding’s style is graphic, colourful and hard-edged. Drawing on influences such as Pop Art, Minimalism and Constructivism, Lagoon West is ultimately grounded in formal sculptural and architectural concerns.
Elizabeth Masterton & Lizzie Ridout: Tanks & Tablecloths, Chapter 2
Lizzie Ridout and Elizabeth Masterton have collaborated as Tanks and Tablecloths since 2004. They set out to map the shared terrain of the military and the domestic, exploring the places - notional and literal - where home and war meet.
