Set on a remote Scottish island, two siblings survive by hunting seabirds, retelling the stories of their ancestors, and defending the isle from dreaded ‘Incomers’. The siblings share their lore and Daniel speaks of mainland virtues, like avocados and the internet. These three people, who have experienced isolation, loss, and loneliness, lower their guard and embrace human connection.
