Tuesday 15 September, 6pm

Artist Lindsay Seers’ large scale installations involve complex storytelling and personal histories. At the heart of the work is the artist’s body and a camera, or in some works, the artist’s body as a camera. Using costumes, intricate layers of research and vast structures Seers weaves a multifarious web of narrative and metaphysical imagery.
Lindsay Seers will be Plymouth Arts Centre’s artist in residence during August and September. Lindsay Seers works and lives in London and Sheerness-on-Sea. Her works are in a number of collections including Tate collection and Arts Council Collection.
