Art of Action: One-Day Filmmaking Workshop with Fotonow

Saturday 30th November

This one-day filmmaking workshop is part of PAC Art of Action season and will take the Boss Bitch Fight Challenge lockdown film by Zoe Bell as inspiration.

Participants will be guided through scripting, filming, and editing to create a short film in just one day. The workshop will be fast-paced and hands-on, with a focus on DIY, punk-style filmmaking. It will include an introduction to filmmaking, collaborative script development, and a practical session where participants rotate roles in the production process, followed by basic editing to finalise the project.

Films made during the course will be shown at Plymouth Arts Cinema before the screening of Yes, Madam! on Friday 6 December, 8.30pm.

Tickets for the workshop are subsidised thanks to funds received from the National Lottery and BFI Film Audience Network (FAN) as part of the Art of Action season, a major UK-wide celebration of big screen action done for real.
