Award Winning Independent Cinema

We crafted a delightful programme for July, with a perfect mix of restored classics (Kind Hearts and Coronets), World Cinema (Rafiki, In Safe Hands, A Season in France) and British indie releases (Tucked), ending up the season in style with the much-anticipated latest Danny Boyle film (Yesterday).

July Highlights:

Booksmart: this razor-sharp comedy about two A-grade students on a mission to cram four years of fun into one night is the film everyone wants to see.

Amazing Grace: Sydney Pollack’s concert film about Aretha Franklin’s legendary gospel album Amazing Grace finally makes it to the big screen.

Also make sure to catch our ‘Reclaim The Frame: Vintage’ double bill evening curated for us by Bird’s Eye View as part of the BFI FAN Film Feels: Obsession season, on the theme of Women and Obsession on Thursday 25 July. Join us for a double bill of two unique and under-screened female-made thrillers from the 80s plus interval discussion and creative writing workshops tapping into one’s own obsessive capacities!

July Offers:

Programmer’s Pick Special Offer: In July, get a discount (each ticket for £5) when you book a ticket for 2 or more different Programmer’s Pick films at the same time. The offer applies to the following films: Rafiki, Dirty God and Tucked.

Reclaim the Frame Double Bill: Pay £10 in total for the Reclaim the Frame Double Bill on Thursday 25 July if you book 1 ticket for each film at the same time. (Smooth Talk, 6pm, Dance With A Stranger, 7.50pm)

Dates for your diary:

We’ll be showing films in our indoor cinema at the College until Wednesday 31 July.

We’ll then be off-site visiting Plymouth’s stunning waterfront locations with our Open Air Cinema programme. Our indoor programme will resume on Friday 6 September.

Tickets for the July programme go on general sale on Tuesday 18 June, with priority booking for PAC Friends from Wednesday 12 June.

The line-up for our Open Air Cinema programme will also be announced on Tuesday 18 June, with tickets going on general sale on the same day at 1pm.
