Award Winning Independent Cinema

Women are under-represented in the film industry. We use the The F-Rating to help build audiences for films by and about women.

The ‘F’ rating is to notify cinema-goers of a film that meets the following criteria:

1. Does it have a female director?
2. Is it written by a woman?
3. Is / are there significant women on screen in their own right?
