Santiago: The Camino Therapy (15)
Dir. Yann Samuell, France, 2025, 113 mins. In French with English subtitles. Cast. Alexandra Lamy, Julien Le Berne, Maëlle Vidou.
Adam is a teenager who’s lost and heading in the wrong direction. A judge gives him a surprising choice: walk 800 kilometres on the Camino de Santiago to think about his future. He sets off with Fred, a tough and outspoken woman. Together, they go on a journey that could change their lives. She is looking to heal from her past; he is struggling to channel his anger and feelings of abandonment. With every mile traveled and each encounter — amid clashes, exhaustion, and moments of peace — a bond gradually forms between the two walkers and each discovers their unsuspected inner strength. A huge hit in its native France, now it’s our turn to be charmed by this lovely film.
