FreePortrait Sketching Workshop
Join us before the Reclaim the Frame screening of Portrait of a Lady on Fire for a portrait sketching workshop, and prepare to get a feel for the period as you will be standing at your easel dressed up in full 18th Century period costume!
The workshop will be led by Marie Dunaway, Senior Lecturer & Subject Leader BA (Hons) Costume Production & Associated Crafts at Plymouth College of Art. Costumes will come from Plymouth Theatre Royal Costume Department.
During a career as costumier and supervisor, Marie has worked for a variety of theatre companies including; The Royal Exchange Manchester, The Royal Shakespeare Company, West Yorkshire Playhouse Deputy Wardrobe Manager at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth.
The workshop will run from 5.45 - 6.45pm and is limited to 8 spaces.
There will be an exhibition of recent work by students on the BA Costume Production course in the Plymouth Arts Cinema bar.
