This film is a wonderful tribute to the late John Hurt. He plays Ralph, a once famous writer who is terminally ill and wants to be reconciled with his long-abandoned son Michael.
When Michael comes to his Portuguese villa, Ralph's long-suffering wife looks to create the perfect environment, but he manages to ruin things by picking a fight with his son’s girlfriend. The clock is ticking, as Ralph has invited a mysterious ‘Visitor’ (Dance) to provide him with a painless end to his life.
